The beginning of the new year found a very diverse group coming together at Paradise Point in San Diego for EDF Renewables Development Summit 2019!
268 attendees arrived from the United States, Canada, Mexico, and France representing a variety of groups such as Distributed Solutions, Engineering, Valuations & Transactions, and Offshore Wind. Of those attendees, approximately 20% were newly hired within the past year. The summit provided a unique opportunity to connect with colleagues from all across North America for the seventh time since it's inception in 2013.
Participants met for the 3-day summit comprised of group specific presentations, development initiatives across our wide range of offerings, and even an in depth look at our Digital Vision Initiative. A fun afternoon of team building sparked participation in both mental, physical, and photo challenges during an “Amazing Race” event, which was capped off by a night of continued networking and sharing of ideas.
