Software Updates to Watch for From IT Services

Java and Adobe Reader

To continue to secure our end user computing environment, IT Services will be updating Java and Adobe Reader programs on your local machine beginning July 12. This means newer features and functionality. It also provides secure and up-to-date programs, leaving your machine less vulnerable to outside attack. This update involves removing older versions of Java and Adobe Reader. The updates will happen in the background of your machine and you will be prompted when the removal starts and ends. You can continue to use your machine normally during these removals. If you have any questions about this please let the service desk know at 858-521-3400

EDF Renewables Cheers for France

Let's go all the way now!

France's win on Tuesday over Belgium is not just a win for France, but for EDF, too. EDF is one of the French Football Federation’s five major partners.

For four years, the Group has been supporting the French national teams (men, women and youth), the men’s and women’s French Cup, as well as all amateur football.

So many places and opportunities to proudly display the Group’s values – values that are also an integral part of football: solidarity, commitment, team spirit and an openness to all, whatever their age, gender, origin or background, or where they are from.

EDF Renewables Mexico team cheers and celebrates France's win.

EDF Renewables San Diego Team watches and cheers during lunch-time in the Innovation Cafe.
