Presented by President & CEO Tristan Grimbert
On April 20, President & CEO Tristan Grimbert presented the quarterly State of the Company address.
Below are the some of the key topics covered in the address:
My dear colleagues,
As I just handed over this wonderful company to Bruno Bensasson, I wanted to again express my warmest thanks.
Beyond my admiration for your engagement, your expertise and the passion you bring to your daily work. I must say that I have had tremendous pleasure in working with each and every one of you. These past six years spent working with you has been the most exciting period of my career.
I hence once again want to say how grateful and proud I am for what we have achieved together at EDF Energies Nouvelles since I joined the company, and thank you for the trust you have shown me. We have grown this company. We have succeeded in giving it a first-rate ranking in the global marketplace for renewables as well as within the EDF Group, and I know for sure that this exciting adventure is going to continue.
I’m now going to devote my energies to personal projects and at the same time, I’ll be acting as an adviser to Jean-Bernard Lévy and Bruno Bensasson until the end of the year.
I have every confidence in the future of EDF EN because I am sure of your collective capability, under the leadership of Bruno, to take up even the biggest challenges of tomorrow.
All the best for the future and for all of you,
On 2 May, I officially assumed my duties as Chairman and CEO of EDF Energies Nouvelles. I am delighted to join and be at the head of such a fantastic company and such enthusiastic people.
The company is where it is today thanks to you, the women and men who bring such passion to their work here, as well as the drive instilled by Antoine Cahuzac who successfully ran the company over the last six years.
I would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the exceptional growth of EDF EN since 2012. The company has increased gross installed capacity from 4 GW to 12 GW, and now operates in 22 countries, up from nine, with a workforce that has risen from 2,300 to 3,500 people. These figures speak for themselves! The progress made is nothing short of remarkable.
Well done and thank you again to Antoine for these achievements, which have helped to grow the company and position it as leader in its industry. It is a great honour for me to follow on from him today. I will of course endeavour to continue and further boost this momentum, which fits in perfectly with EDF’s CAP 2030 ambition, and – to use Antoine’s words – to rise to the major challenges of tomorrow together.
For now, I would like to spend as much time as possible with you to better understand the issues you face, your ideas and your dreams for the future. I will have the opportunity to meet you on site in France and overseas very shortly.
The SEPA Utility Solar Conference was held April 23-25 in Rancho Mirage, CA.
Valerie Barros & Joni Hamson presented during the Solution Provider Plenary Session on storage solutions, including:
Employee Guidelines for Posting
Social media can be a fun and rewarding way to share your life and opinions with family, friends and co-workers around the world. However, use of social media also presents certain risks and carries with it certain responsibilities. To assist you in making responsible decisions about your use of social media, EDF Renewables has established guidelines for appropriate use of social media.

On April 18th, more than 150 EDF Renewables employees came to support the EV Charging team and learn more about electric vehicles. The event was held at the San Diego Headquarters in the parking lot next to the EV charging stations.
GM and Chrysler dealers were present with six vehicles for employees to test drive. In addition, 20 employees signed up to take either an all-electric GM Bolt or a hybrid Chrysler Pacifica vehicle home for a 24-hour test drive.
The acai bowls and smoothies were a hit, as well as the mini solar car giveaways.
If you still have questions or if you're ready to purchase an EV, contact EV Charging Project Manager, Niki de Leon at email@example.com.
